Jennifer Lopez’s life has changed for the better in the past year.
J. Lo, in case you’ve been under a rock, married Ben Affleck in July 2022, rekindling a romance nearly two decades after they first pulled the plug on their engagement. did
The two stars brought their families together, including their children. Lopez is mother to Max and Amy, 14, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck shares Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 10, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
“We moved in together. The kids moved in together,” Lopez told Jason Kennedy in an interview airing today, Jan. 16, while appearing with Josh Duhamel in her upcoming first video romantic comedy. Her co-star in “Shotgun Wedding”.
“It was really kind of an emotional transition, but at the same time all your dreams come true. And it’s just been an extraordinary year. Like, my best year I think is when my kids were born.
Duhamel also praised Affleck, saying he is a “dream ship” who is “talented”.
“He’s a dream,” Lopez agreed.
“He’s a sweetheart,” she added.
In 2002, Lopez released the album It’s Me… Again, which was made while she was with Affleck. She plans to release a new album, “This Is Me… Now,” which she says reflects the couple’s growth.
“The last time Ben and I were together, to this album, it was such a journey,” she said. “The thing I think I’ve wondered about my whole life is, is love real? Is there true love? It’s two people who come together and say, you know, ‘I’ll be here.’ “No matter what. And we’ll get through it together.”
Lopez also mentioned that her union with Affleck may not have happened when they initially planned it, but it makes sense for how it happened.
“Ben and I laughed the other night about getting married again at our age,” she wrote in a statement to fans in September 2022. “We were both married before and we don’t have kids anymore, but somehow it seems like that now. Only the age that makes sense.

Lopez didn’t exactly clarify the confusion when asked by TODAY to blink once if it’s his new job or twice if he’s shooting a Super Bowl commercial.
“I didn’t blink. I didn’t mean to blink,” she joked to Kennedy. “Stop it! Stop trying to zoom in on my eyes!”
