The Zero Emissions Ride & Drive event, hosted by the Port Trucking Association, brings together leading transportation companies, suppliers and automakers who are actively working to address the growing climate crisis by promoting the adoption of zero-emission vehicles.
Booster joins the list of exhibitors showcasing its advances in mobility fuel innovation, sustainable energy delivery and decarbonization solutions. Attendees can experience technological advancements and learn more about the benefits of zero-emission trucks, buses and heavy equipment. Attendees will also be able to explore advances in mobile and stationary charging, off-site and on-site hydrogen fueling, ZEV infrastructure parking, and mobile ZEV servicing.
Other exhibitors include heavy commercial vehicle manufacturers Hyundai, Hyzon, Kenworth, Nikola and Peterbilt, as well as regional utility Southern California Edison and various partners including GTL Hydrogen Trailers and Voltera.
These exhibitors will display six heavy-duty zero-emission trucks, including pure electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles. Attendees can choose to ride, drive, or preview a Class 8 battery or fuel cell electric truck to introduce attendees to various zero-emissions technologies.
“Zero-emission vehicles and the supporting infrastructure are key assets in decarbonizing transport and accelerating the transition to clean energy,” said Booster founder and CEO Frank Mycroft. A top player in the truck adoption range, Booster is pleased to be involved as a mobile energy partner. “
The zero-emission riding and driving campaign comes on the heels of the Global Memorandum of Understanding on Zero-Emission Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles (Global MoU), in which 16 leading countries around the world call for action to reduce climate emissions from transport and accelerate a global zero-emission truck and bus sector. The coalition of countries is encouraging countries around the world to adopt a target of 100% zero-emission truck and bus sales by 2040, an interim target of 30% zero-emission car sales by 2030, and net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
